SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y. — The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on a Family Court warrant tied to unpaid child support.
Authorities said Dylan Gilks, 48, is wanted under Article 4 for failure to pay child support. The warrant was issued on Sept. 19, 2025, according to officials.
Gilks is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. Investigators said he has previous ties to the Riverhead and Manorville areas.
The warrant stems from Family Court proceedings related to child support obligations. Under New York law, failure to comply with court-ordered child support can result in enforcement actions including arrest warrants and potential jail time.
The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Warrant Squad is actively seeking Gilks. Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
