A Queens man has been arrested after two checks exceeding $495,000 were intercepted after being mailed by a Woodbury company, Nassau County police said.
Raymond Nagaloo, 31, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, following an investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Electronics Squad and Fraud & Forgery Section.
Police said the Woodbury company mailed two checks that were intercepted by an unknown person. Nassau police listed the larceny as occurring on June 23, 2025.
Investigators later connected Nagaloo to the case, police said. Authorities did not provide additional details about how the checks were intercepted or how Nagaloo was allegedly linked to them.
Nagaloo is charged with two counts of second-degree grand larceny.
