Nassau County police are seeking a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with a weapon possession case in East Garden City.
Police identified the wanted man as Kenneth Edwards. According to a Nassau County Police Department #MugshotMonday notice, Edwards is wanted for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, with the notice citing a previous conviction.
Police described Edwards as 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities did not provide additional details about the East Garden City incident in the notice.
Police are asking anyone with information about Edwards’ whereabouts to contact the department. Nassau police said messages can be forwarded anonymously.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Edwards.
