Hampton Bays Woman Accused of Selling Alcohol to Underage Police Agent at Shirley Deli

A 37-year-old Hampton Bays woman was arrested Wednesday after Suffolk County police said she sold an alcoholic beverage to an underage police agent during an enforcement operation at a Shirley deli.

Leydi Molina Flores was arrested Aug. 26 at V&W Parkway Deli, located at 431 William Floyd Parkway, police said.

Seventh Precinct Criminal Investigative Unit officers conducted the underage alcohol sale operation at approximately 3:10 p.m. in response to community complaints.

Police said an underage police agent entered the store and was sold an alcoholic beverage by Molina Flores, an employee of the deli.

Molina Flores was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

She was issued a field appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

The charge is an accusation, and Molina Flores is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
