Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with property damage in East Rockaway.
Benjamin Cohen is wanted on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief for allegedly damaging another person’s property, with the damage valued at more than $250, according to police.
Police described Cohen as a white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
The department did not release additional details about the incident.
Anyone with information about Cohen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Tips may be submitted anonymously.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
