Prosecutors: Drug Ring Mailed Fentanyl, Meth to Nassau County for Years

Four men have been indicted on major narcotics charges in connection with an alleged interstate drug trafficking operation that prosecutors say shipped fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine through the U.S. mail to Nassau County, New York City and locations across the country.

According to Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly, investigators believe the operation ran for nearly three years and involved more than 100 suspected drug shipments sent to addresses in 12 states. Prosecutors allege 81 of those parcels were delivered to locations in New York, including 21 shipments sent into Nassau County.

Authorities identified Macayo Parrott, 51, of Glendale, Arizona, as a central figure in the alleged conspiracy. Also charged are Bruce Frazier, 51, of Hempstead; Antwann Meyers, 45, of Queens; and Robert Bowie, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona. Prosecutors allege the group used the postal system to distribute narcotics, including fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine, to locations in Queens, Brooklyn and Nassau County.

The investigation began in June 2023 after law enforcement agencies received information from a separate probe involving parcels believed to have been used to transport narcotics. Investigators allegedly traced multiple shipments to addresses connected to the defendants and uncovered a pattern of packages being mailed under names that did not match the shipping or receiving addresses.

According to the indictment, Parrott allegedly shipped more than 40 parcels connected to the conspiracy, four of which were intercepted and confirmed to contain narcotics. Those seizures included approximately 2,226 grams of methamphetamine, more than 860 grams of fentanyl mixed with cutting agents and more than 200 grams of fentanyl pills. Prosecutors also allege Parrott arranged multiple kilogram-level fentanyl shipments during 2025.

Investigators said intercepted phone calls, text messages and other evidence allegedly captured conversations among Parrott, Frazier, Meyers and Bowie discussing narcotics shipments, drug transfers and the purchase of fentanyl pills.

In total, authorities seized more than 4,000 fentanyl pills, approximately 1,850 grams of fentanyl bricks, more than two kilograms of methamphetamine and nearly one kilogram of cocaine during the investigation. Prosecutors noted that a kilogram of fentanyl can carry a street value of up to $40,000 in the New York metropolitan area.

When the defendants were arrested on March 4, 2026, investigators recovered more than 2,000 fentanyl pills from Meyers’ Queens residence, according to prosecutors. Authorities also seized dozens of cell phones, packing materials and other evidence from Parrott’s Arizona home. Three handguns were recovered from Bowie’s residence during his arrest, prosecutors said.

Parrott was arraigned June 2 before Judge Tammy Robbins on charges including Conspiracy in the Second Degree, Operating as a Major Trafficker, multiple counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years to life in prison. He is due back in court on July 13.

Frazier was arraigned March 4 on conspiracy and drug possession charges. He pleaded not guilty and bail was set at $1 million cash, $2 million bond, or a $20 million partially secured bond. He is scheduled to return to court on June 15.

Meyers was also arraigned March 4 and pleaded not guilty. Bail was set at $2 million cash, $4 million bond, or a $40 million partially secured bond. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted and is due back in court on June 15.

Bowie was arraigned May 1 on conspiracy and drug possession charges. He pleaded not guilty and bail was set at $1 million cash, $2 million bond, or a $10 million partially secured bond. He is due back in court on July 1.

The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York Task Force Division, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. The charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
