Nassau County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for an alleged probation violation.
According to police, Kar Toong is wanted for violating Nassau County probation in connection with a case associated with North New Hyde Park.
Police described Toong as a 39-year-old Asian/Pacific Islander man with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5-foot-8 and weighs about 170 pounds.
Authorities released the information as part of the department’s #MugshotMonday public awareness campaign.
Police advised members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Toong if he is seen.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement. Nassau County Crime Stoppers accepts anonymous tips through its website and tip line. Reward money may be available for information leading to an arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
