Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a man accused of stealing an electric bicycle battery from a North Patchogue sporting goods store.
Police said the man stole the battery from Dick’s Sporting Goods at 499-64 Sunrise Highway on June 19 at approximately 12:44 p.m.
The Suffolk County Police Department released an image of the man as part of its investigation into the alleged petit larceny.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all calls, messages and emails will remain confidential.
