LAWRENCE, N.Y. — Nassau County police are seeking a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a felony assault involving a weapon or instrument in Lawrence.
Police identified the wanted man as Raymond Cruz.
According to a Nassau County Police Department wanted poster, Cruz is wanted for felony assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or instrument. Police did not provide additional details about the alleged assault in the notice.
Cruz is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
Police are asking anyone with information about Cruz’s whereabouts to contact authorities. Information sent to police can be forwarded anonymously.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Cruz.
