Pennsylvania Fugitive Arrested at Seaford Pokémon Card Store

A 40-year-old man wanted in Pennsylvania on a felony bench warrant involving alleged unlawful contact with a minor was arrested at a Pokémon card hobby store in Seaford and extradited to Pennsylvania, Nassau County police said.

Shane Michael Rossi was located in May at Pulls, a store specializing in Pokémon cards at 3663 Merrick Road, according to police.

The Nassau County Police Department said it assisted the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office in Pennsylvania with Rossi’s arrest and extradition.

Police said Rossi was wanted on a bench warrant for unlawful contact with a minor, a felony charge in Pennsylvania.

According to Nassau police, Rossi owned the same type of card hobby store at the time of the alleged incident in Pennsylvania. Police did not provide additional details about the allegations or identify the Pennsylvania business.

Rossi remains in custody in Pennsylvania, police said.

Nassau County police released information about the case Monday, Aug. 10, because of the nature of the allegations. The department’s Special Victims Squad is asking anyone with information to contact investigators at 516-573-4022.

The investigation remains ongoing.
