Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help locating a 30-year-old man wanted in connection with a stolen credit card possession case in Hempstead.
Police identified the wanted man as Monte Woody. According to a Nassau County Police Department Warrant Wednesday notice, Woody is wanted for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property involving possession of a credit card.
Police said the incident occurred in Hempstead. Additional details about the alleged offense were not provided.
Woody is described as a Black man with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Woody. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
