Nassau County police are seeking a 21-year-old man wanted on a drug possession charge connected to an incident in Franklin Square.
Police identified the wanted man as Md Sadid Mahdin. He is wanted for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance involving 500 milligrams of cocaine, according to a Nassau County Police Department Warrant Wednesday notice.
Mahdin is described as an Asian male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
Police are asking anyone with information about Mahdin’s whereabouts to contact the department. Information sent to police through its social media messaging system will be forwarded anonymously.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Mahdin.
