Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of entering the yard of a North Massapequa home and trying to force open a garage door lock.
The incident happened at about 2 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at a home on West Drive, according to police.

Police said the man entered the yard and attempted several times to force and pick open the lock on the garage door.
After the attempts were unsuccessful, the man allegedly walked around the victim’s yard before fleeing the area.
Nassau County police released a surveillance image of the man and said he is wanted in connection with a criminal trespass investigation.
