A Levittown man was arrested after Nassau County police said he followed a 17-year-old jogger to her Merrick home and committed a lewd act while looking at her from inside his vehicle.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s First Squad.
Detectives said the teenager was jogging when she noticed a gray 2013 Nissan Rogue that appeared to be following her.
When she returned to her residence on Woodbine Avenue, she saw the vehicle parked outside the home. Police said the teenager then saw a man inside the vehicle with his pants off, committing a lewd act while looking at her.
Following an investigation, police arrested Justin Sullivan, 28, of Levittown, at his workplace, the Stop & Shop in Merrick. He was taken into custody without incident.
During arrest processing, Sullivan was allegedly found with a substance believed to be lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD.
Sullivan was charged with public lewdness and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Sullivan to contact the First Squad at 516-573-6100.

The charges are accusations, and Sullivan is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
