Update: According to News 12 Long Island, police arrested Donna Logan, 65, of Ronkonkoma, Jemel Edwards, 39, of Deer Park and Elizabeth Linder, 34, for the crime.

Suffolk County Police arrested three individuals on April 25 after they allegedly stole multiple gold chains from a jewelry store in Rocky Point.

According to police, the theft occurred at approximately 2 p.m. at R&S Diamond Exchange, located at 285 Route 25A. Authorities said the suspects took three gold chains from the store before being apprehended.

The three individuals have been charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. The charges reflect the value of the stolen property, with third-degree grand larceny classified as a felony under New York law.

All three suspects are being held overnight at the Seventh Precinct. They are scheduled to be arraigned on April 26 at First District Court in Central Islip.

Police have not released additional details about the suspects or the circumstances leading to their arrests.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
