An 18-year-old man was killed after being stabbed Sunday night outside a business on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead, according to Nassau County police.
Police said officers responded to an aided call at approximately 9:25 p.m. on June 28 in front of 545 Fulton Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from puncture wounds to his torso.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.
The Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad is investigating the fatal stabbing. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or announced any arrests.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
The investigation remains ongoing.
