Westbury Burglary: $50K in Clothing, $3K Cash Stolen After Suspects Force Entry

Police are searching for three suspects accused of breaking into a Westbury store and stealing tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise and cash early on April 6, 2026.

According to Nassau County Police and Crime Stoppers, the burglary occurred at approximately 5:20 a.m. at a business located at 435 Old Country Road. Investigators say the suspects arrived in a silver BMW X4 with New York registration and pulled up to the rear of the building.

One of the suspects used a crowbar to force open the rear entrance, allowing all three individuals to enter the store. Once inside, the group made multiple trips in and out of the building, removing piles of clothing and bags.

Police said one of the suspects also accessed the front of the store, where they opened a cash register and stole approximately $3,000 in cash.

In total, authorities estimate the value of the stolen merchandise at approximately $50,000, along with about $2,000 in damage caused to the rear door during the break-in.

The suspects fled the scene around 5:26 a.m., re-entering the BMW and driving northbound on Bert Avenue, according to investigators.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification or arrest of those responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or submit a tip online. All calls will remain anonymous.
