STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Suffolk County Police are investigating the murder of a Selden man who was found critically injured in Stony Brook early Monday morning.
According to police, officers responded to 21 Shore Road at approximately 3:40 a.m., where they discovered 52-year-old Christopher Millwater suffering from injuries consistent with a violent assault. Millwater was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide Squad detectives are leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. No arrests have been announced at this time, and authorities have not released additional details about possible suspects or motives.
