STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Suffolk County Police have announced an arrest in the stabbing death of Christopher Millwater, marking a significant update to the homicide investigation first reported on November 10.
According to police, Kacy Corso, 33, of Setauket, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Murder in the Second Degree for the fatal stabbing that occurred in front of 21 Shore Road in Stony Brook.
Millwater, 52, of Selden, was found injured at approximately 3:40 a.m. on November 10 and later pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Hospital. The original release indicated that Homicide Squad detectives were seeking information as they worked to identify a suspect.
Corso is being held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned on November 20 at First District Court in Central Islip.

Suffolk County Police are investigating the murder of a Selden man who was found critically injured in Stony Brook early Monday morning.
According to police, officers responded to 21 Shore Road at approximately 3:40 a.m., where they discovered 52-year-old Christopher Millwater suffering from injuries consistent with a violent assault. Millwater was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
