A Rockville Centre man was arrested after police linked him to a series of crimes across Nassau County, including a bank robbery, an attempted bank robbery, and the theft of a vehicle, authorities said.

Brian Quinn, 50, of Rockville Centre, was taken into custody on April 23, 2026, at approximately 1:40 p.m. following an investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Major Case Squad.

According to detectives, Quinn is accused of carrying out three separate incidents over a four-day period:

On April 19, Quinn allegedly stole a 2011 BMW from A Plus Auto Technician on Grand Avenue in Baldwin after taking the vehicle for a test drive and failing to return it.

On April 20, police said Quinn entered a Chase Bank branch on Long Beach Road in Oceanside and demanded money from a teller. The teller refused, and Quinn left without obtaining any cash.

Two days later, on April 22, Quinn allegedly carried out a robbery at a Flagstar Bank on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa. Detectives said he passed a note demanding cash, and the teller complied out of fear before Quinn fled the scene.

Following what police described as a thorough investigation, Quinn was located and arrested without incident.

He has been charged with Robbery in the Third Degree, Attempted Robbery in the Third Degree, and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree.

All charges are felonies or serious offenses under New York State law, with robbery charges carrying the potential for significant prison time if convicted.

Quinn was arraigned on April 24 at First District Court in Hempstead. His case remains pending.
