Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of stealing $218 worth of merchandise from a Riverhead Stop & Shop.
The theft occurred June 11 at approximately 11:10 a.m. at the supermarket at 1615 Old Country Road, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department.
Police said the woman took assorted merchandise from the store. Authorities released an image of the woman they are seeking as part of the investigation.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
