FREEPORT, N.Y. — Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person wanted in connection with an identity theft case at a BJ’s Wholesale in Freeport.
Police said the person entered the store at 100 Mill Road at about 3 p.m. Aug. 1 and made a purchase.
Authorities did not provide additional details about the transaction or how the alleged identity theft occurred.
Nassau County Crime Stoppers released a photo of the person on Sept. 22 and is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information.
