Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man and woman accused of stealing an $800 electric bike from a Dick’s Sporting Goods store in Melville.
Police said the pair stole the e-bike from the store at 870 Walt Whitman Road on April 18 at about 7:08 p.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking information that could help identify and locate the two people. Police released a surveillance image showing the pair they are trying to identify.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all tips will be kept confidential.
