Nassau County police are seeking Gabriella Schmidt in connection with a grand larceny case in Elmont.
Police said Schmidt is wanted on a charge of fourth-degree grand larceny involving property allegedly taken from a person. Authorities did not provide additional details about the property or when the incident occurred.
Schmidt, 34, is described as a white woman with multicolored hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Schmidt.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. The department said information may be submitted anonymously by sending police a message.
