Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with an unlawful surveillance case in Cedarhurst.
According to Nassau County Crime Stoppers, authorities are seeking Wyse Woods, 27, who is wanted on a charge of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree for allegedly using or installing an imaging device for amusement or profit.
Police said the charge stems from an incident that occurred in Cedarhurst. Additional details about the investigation were not released.
Woods is described as a Black male, 5-foot-10 and approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding Woods’ whereabouts to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477) or call 911. Tips can also be submitted online through Nassau County Crime Stoppers. All callers will remain anonymous.
The charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
