Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a stolen property case in Seaford.
As part of the department’s weekly “#MugshotMonday” campaign, police identified the wanted individual as Jorge Yanes Maldonado, 47.
According to Nassau County Police, Maldonado is wanted on a charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree involving possession of a credit card.
Police said the incident occurred in Seaford.
Authorities described Maldonado as a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs about 145 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County Police. Police said information can be submitted anonymously through the department’s social media messaging platforms.
Police cautioned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain the wanted individual.
The investigation remains ongoing.
