A man stole approximately $180 worth of beer and shrimp from a Farmingville Stop & Shop in April, and Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help identifying him, authorities said.
The theft happened at the Stop & Shop at 2350 North Ocean Ave. on April 21, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers.
Police said the man took the items from the store and fled in a black Volkswagen. The release lists the incident time as 2:56 p.m., with additional wording indicating approximately 5 p.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
