Nassau County police are searching for a 27-year-old man accused of entering a Jericho property he had been banned from and shoplifting.
Ernesto Schibeci is wanted on a third-degree burglary charge, according to a Nassau County Police Department wanted notice.
Police allege Schibeci violated a no-trespass ban by entering the property with the intent to commit a crime. The department identified that alleged crime as shoplifting.
The notice did not identify the property, the date of the incident, the merchandise allegedly taken or its value.
Police described Schibeci as a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 310 pounds.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police or send the department a message. Information may be submitted anonymously.
Police warned the public not to approach, apprehend or detain him.
