WESTBURY, N.Y. — Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating an 18-year-old wanted in connection with a stolen property case in Westbury.
Police identified the wanted individual as Haroune Sarhghini.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, Sarhghini is wanted for third-degree criminal possession of stolen property involving property valued at more than $3,000. Police listed Westbury as the location of the incident.
Sarhghini is described as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
Police are asking anyone with information about Sarhghini’s whereabouts to contact the department. Nassau County police said messages submitted to them will be forwarded anonymously.
Authorities cautioned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Sarhghini and instead to contact police.
