Police Seek Felony Assault Suspect Wanted in New Hyde Park Case

Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a felony assault case tied to an incident in New Hyde Park.

According to Nassau County Police, Jordin Perez-Bonilla, 23, is wanted on a charge of Assault in the Second Degree, a felony offense alleging intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or dangerous instrument.

Police said the charge stems from an incident that occurred in New Hyde Park.

Authorities said Perez-Bonilla is among wanted offenders who were previously arrested and later failed to appear in court and/or comply with the conditions of their release.

Police described Perez-Bonilla as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked not to approach or attempt to detain him. Instead, contact police or submit an anonymous tip through Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).

Police said all tips submitted through Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
