Nassau County police are searching for a 13-year-old boy who was last seen running from the county’s Social Services Administration building in Uniondale.
Jayden Orellana-Melendez was last seen at approximately 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the building located at 60 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, according to the Nassau County Police Department. He was reported missing about 40 minutes later.
Police described Jayden as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black sports jacket with a high collar, brown and blue plaid pants, and red, white and black sneakers.
Detectives said Jayden is known to frequent the Oceanside area.
