Suffolk County police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Holbrook Thursday night.
Mario Corvasce, 66, of Holbrook, was in the roadway in front of 780 Broadway Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle at about 9:15 p.m. June 11, police said.
The driver did not stop, according to Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives.
Corvasce was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
