Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on a Criminal Contempt charge stemming from an alleged order of protection violation in Baldwin.
According to Nassau County Police Department’s latest #MugshotMonday posting, authorities are seeking Joshua Williams, 28, who is wanted for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree.
Police said the charge is connected to an alleged violation of an order of protection involving weapons and threats. The incident occurred in Baldwin.
Williams is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5-foot-9 and weighs about 200 pounds.
Police advised the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
Anyone with information regarding Williams’ whereabouts is urged to contact Nassau County Police. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Nassau County Police Department social media channels.
