Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a 30-year-old man wanted under New York’s Leandra’s Law in connection with an aggravated DWI case involving a child passenger in Freeport.
Police identified the wanted man as Envey Garcia Zambrano.
Garcia Zambrano is wanted for aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger younger than 16, an offense covered by Leandra’s Law.
Police said the incident occurred in Freeport and listed the charge as a first offense.
Garcia Zambrano is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 320 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Police said information can be provided anonymously.
Authorities warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
