Nassau County police are seeking a 42-year-old man accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise in Mineola.
Police identified the wanted man as Shalva Khakhanashvili. He is wanted for fourth-degree grand larceny in connection with the retail theft, according to Nassau County police.
Khakhanashvili is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and about 300 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
Anyone with information about Khakhanashvili’s whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Police said messages can be forwarded anonymously.
