Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of stealing clothes, sneakers and backpacks from a Burlington store in Islandia.
Suffolk County Police said the woman stole the merchandise from the Burlington at 1730 Veterans Memorial Highway on Tuesday, July 28, at approximately 10:50 p.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking to identify and locate the woman. Police released surveillance images of the woman as part of a Crime Alert issued Sept. 8.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips app or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
