Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help identifying two people accused of intentionally setting fire to merchandise inside a Hempstead Five Below store.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on July 13, 2026, at the store located at 142 Fulton Avenue, according to Nassau County Crime Stoppers.
Police said the two pictured subjects entered the store and intentionally set fire to merchandise before leaving.
The Nassau County Police Department’s Arson Bomb Squad is investigating the incident. No information about injuries or the extent of the damage was provided.
Anyone who can identify the subjects or has information about the case is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477) or visiting nassaucounty.crimestoppersweb.com.
Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $5,000. All calls will remain anonymous.
