A Westbury man with prior sex offense convictions was arrested after he allegedly opened a parked vehicle’s door and forcibly touched a woman while her daughter was inside, Nassau County police said.
Mohammed Karimzada, 53, was charged following the incident near Myrtle Avenue and South Grand Street in Westbury at approximately 9:23 p.m. Saturday, July 4.
Police said the 22-year-old woman was sitting inside her parked vehicle with her daughter when Karimzada allegedly opened the vehicle’s door and forcibly touched her. He then fled on foot, according to detectives.
Third Squad detectives identified Karimzada during their investigation and arrested him without further incident. Police listed his address as 17 South Grand Street in Westbury.
Karimzada was charged with forcible touching, persistent sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. Investigators said he had previously been convicted of multiple sex offenses.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Sunday, July 5, at First District Court in Hempstead.

The charges are accusations, and Karimzada is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
