Authorities have identified the 15-year-old killed in a shooting at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow as Quacere Hagans of Coram, Nassau County police said.
The shooting happened around 8:27 p.m. on April 15 at Field Two inside the park, located at 1899 Hempstead Turnpike. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found Hagans suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a physician.
Two other men, ages 28 and 31, were also shot during the incident. Both were transported to area hospitals and remain in critical condition, according to police.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been disclosed, and detectives have not announced any arrests.
