Cash Register Stolen From Farmingdale 7-Eleven, Burglar Sought By Police

Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary at a Farmingdale convenience store last month.

According to police, the break-in happened at approximately 1 a.m. on April 20 at the 7-Eleven located at 150 Main St. Investigators said the suspect broke a window to gain entry into the business.

Once inside, the suspect allegedly stole the store’s cash register before fleeing the scene.

Authorities released a surveillance image of the individual and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Police said all tips can remain anonymous.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477) or submit tips online through the Nassau County Crime Stoppers website.

The investigation remains ongoing.
