Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate two individuals accused of stealing merchandise from a Target store in Medford last month.
According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, a man and a woman entered the Target located at 2975 Horseblock Road on March 18 at approximately 8:37 p.m. Investigators say the pair selected assorted household items and proceeded through a self-checkout area, where they failed to scan the merchandise before leaving the store.
The total value of the stolen items is estimated at approximately $400.
The incident is being investigated as petit larceny, a misdemeanor offense under New York law involving the theft of property.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is urged to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting www.P3Tips.com. All tips are kept confidential.
