ROOSEVELT, N.Y. — Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help locating Oscar Hernandez-Lemus, 27, who is wanted in connection with a criminal impersonation case in Roosevelt.
According to a Nassau County Police Department wanted poster, Hernandez-Lemus is wanted for second-degree criminal impersonation involving another person.
Police described Hernandez-Lemus as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
The wanted poster identifies Roosevelt as the location of the incident. Police did not provide additional details about the circumstances of the case.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about Hernandez-Lemus’ whereabouts to contact police. Nassau County police said information can be provided anonymously.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Hernandez-Lemus themselves.
