Police Search for Suspect Who Stole Paintball Gun from Islandia Walmart

Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man accused of stealing a paintball gun from a Walmart in Islandia last month.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, the theft occurred at the Walmart located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway on March 22 at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Authorities said the suspect took a paintball gun from the store and left without paying. No further description of the individual was immediately released.

The case is being investigated as petit larceny, a misdemeanor offense under New York law. Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the incident.
