The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on a Family Court arrest warrant for allegedly failing to pay child support.
Authorities said James Lovret, 42, is wanted on a Family Court warrant that was issued on Sept. 10, 2025, for failure to pay child support.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lovret is 5-foot-9, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Investigators said he is known to have ties to the Smithtown and Brentwood areas.
