The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating William Benson, who is wanted on a Family Court arrest warrant.
Authorities said the warrant was issued on May 16, 2025, under Article 4, which relates to child support matters. The warrant carries bail set at $149,000.
Benson, 43, has ties to Charlotte, New York, and the New York City area, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He is described as 6-foot-0, 230 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His date of birth is listed as Aug. 27, 1982.
Officials did not disclose the amount of any alleged child support arrears associated with the case.
