A Southampton man was arrested after a 35-foot boat struck a stone jetty in Sag Harbor Bay, seriously injuring two passengers before the vessel’s operator allegedly left the scene, New York State Police said.
Peter Mangiameli, 57, was operating a 2023 cruise boat from Sag Harbor Bay into the harbor on the evening of Sunday, July 5, when the vessel struck a jetty and sustained significant damage, according to police.
