PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — Four employees were cited and Infinite Lounge was issued an immediate cease-and-desist order following a multiagency inspection Thursday night, Suffolk County police said.
Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers inspected the bar at 104 Main St. at approximately 11:57 p.m. on July 2 alongside representatives from the New York State Liquor Authority and Town of Brookhaven.
Police said the inspection was conducted in response to community complaints and multiple disturbances at the establishment, including a recent assault arrest.
Officials allegedly observed numerous State Liquor Authority violations during the inspection.
Bartender Alyssia Santiesteban, 31, of Centereach, was issued a field appearance ticket for first-degree unlawful dealing with a child, police said.
Three bouncers were issued field appearance tickets for allegedly working as unlicensed security guards. Police identified them as Deandra Nash, 30, of Deer Park; Tyheim Thompson, 27, of Deer Park; and Mahki Taylor, 27, of Ridge.
The State Liquor Authority cited several violations and issued multiple summonses, according to police.
Town of Brookhaven officials also reported finding hazardous violations and issued an immediate cease-and-desist order. Police said the establishment cannot resume operations until the required work is completed and inspected.
The four employees are accused of the cited offenses and are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
