Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of stealing merchandise from a South Setauket supermarket.
The woman allegedly took items from Stop & Shop, located at 260 Pond Path, at approximately 4 p.m. on July 9, police said.
Police released a surveillance image of the woman sought in connection with the theft. Authorities did not disclose what merchandise was allegedly taken or its value.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
