A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was shot during a domestic-related incident in Greenlawn early Thursday, Suffolk County police said.
The shooting happened on Leigh Street at 12:52 a.m. June 4, police said.
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives said the woman was shot by a man, who fled the scene after the shooting.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Police said tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
