Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals accused of stealing merchandise from a business inside Smith Haven Mall.
According to investigators, a man and a woman allegedly took cell phone cases from a Street Talk kiosk at the mall on March 18 at approximately 8:10 p.m.
The case is being handled by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Investigative Unit officers, who released details of the incident as they work to identify and locate the suspects.
Authorities did not disclose the value of the stolen merchandise or provide descriptions of the individuals, but confirmed the theft occurred inside the busy Lake Grove shopping center.
